Manual & Manipulative Therapy

What is Manual / Manipulative Therapy?

At BRH Physiotherapy you will almost always receive a hands-on approach during your
assessment and subsequent treatment.

We use these specific techniques, including but not limited to manipulation and mobilization, to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures for the purpose of modulating pain.

Manual therapy is also used to- increase range of motion, reduce or eliminate soft tissue inflammation, encourage relaxation and improve tissue repair and flexibility.

This all optimizes the body for correcting posture and performing rehabilitation exercises which will provide a long-lasting recovery and give you the tools to self-manage your condition.

All the physios at BRH are trained in manual therapy and many of the senior physios have completed postgraduate training in this.
