How We Do It
- We conduct a comprehensive analysis of your posture, both while standing and sitting, along with various functional positions. We examine the alignment of your foot, ankle, knee, hip, pelvis, spine, and shoulders, ensuring proper joint alignment. We meticulously assess for leg length discrepancies and potentially overloading conditions like scoliosis.
- We measure certain angles, such as evaluating if your head is ‘stacked up’ correctly relative to your neck, thorax and trunk.
- We meticulously evaluate the symmetry between each vertebra, and if we suspect any structural or positional changes (such as scoliosis), we might recommend further investigations such as X-rays.
- We utilize photographs and video analysis for documentation and progress tracking.
- Based on our clinical assessment, we provide a diagnosis of your postural issues. We then engage in a discussion about your requirements and chart a path toward improving your posture.

We will guide you to dedicate 10-15 minutes each day to concentrate on the designated prescriptive postural exercises provided to you. As you consistently practice, these postural adjustments will integrate into your subconscious, ensuring that enhancements are sustained and ingrained naturally. Our Step by Step Approach
- Find the source of your injury (or recurrent injuries)
- Correct the source to alleviate the site of your pain
- Change/optimise your movement patterns
- Integrate these improvements into your sports action (often in conjunction with your technical coach)
- Maintain optimal movement patterns to improve performance and reduce risk of future injury
Prescriptive exercises will be provided during each session and then emailed to you afterwards using the GrooviMovements Physio Software Exercise program, allowing you to easily follow how to perform and progress each exercise.
